Have you ever had the sinking feeling that you are not maximizing your fullest potential?

Well, I certainly have. Recently, I had a routine medical check-up. My employer provides a particular medical provider so the insurance premiums are reasonable. I had only visited the office once.

The doctor that I saw at my initial visit, who I liked a lot, moved to another location. The medical practitioner on staff ran a slew of tests with little or incomplete reasoning. However, I was told my insurance plan would cover the test. So, I rather nonchalantly agreed to the tests.

The next afternoon I received an urgent phone call from the medical practitioner’s office. I needed to review my test results by phone the next morning at 8:00 am. The receptionist who called was not able to provide any additional information. By the way, I later found out that the medical practitioner is not a licensed medical doctor. But that is a story for another day.

The call left me feeling uncertain and afraid. I talked with my best sister friends and my husband about the ominous call. They reassured me that all was well. They were right, all is well. The 12-hour experience left me reassessing my goals to ensure I am maximizing my fullest potential. You may question if you are maximizing…
